Introduction:

Between July 2005 and July 2006 the Fund launched five grant programmes: * in July and August 2005 giving interim help to the victims of the bombings * in September and November 2005 and again in March and July 2006 giving bigger grants to those worst affected.The Fund has now closed, having completed the job for which it was set up: to distribute the money that was raised by others as quickly as possible to the victims of the 7th July attacks, and to do it with the minimum of red tape.
