I think that: I am disgusted at the conditions in which hens are being kept for the sake of 'cheap' eggs, This should not be allowed to go on, as we are supposed to be a caring nation.

Because: Humans would flip if told they must live in cages, one on top of another, with no natural light and having to walk on mesh which allows excrement to fall through to a waste trough beneath. So why should hens do it? Don't they matter? Don't they have feelings? It is disgusting and cruel. We should boycott eggs from caged hens and maybe people would stand up and take notice.
