I think that: The US government isn't for the American people it's for illegal immigrants, lobbyists and corporations. This latest insult for immigration reform is a slap in the face to citizens and legal immigrants.
Because: It allows millions of illegal immigrants get visa and pay a fine of $5k over eight years. This puts them ahead of the line of everyone else yet once again. They come here get jobs that I am not even considered for, don't pay taxes, receive medical care for free, send their children to school for free. They are using resources that should be for citizens and legal immigrants. We are the one actually paying for it through tax dollars. The fine is a joke as well. If, I, commit a crime the fine imposed on me will not be a paltry $5k that can be paid over time and I'll probable spend time in prison for it. The American Dream doesn't apply to citizens and legal immigrants. It is time for a government that doesn't bowl over for criminals.
