I think that: Inheritance tax is a good thing and should be kept Because: Your children obviously have less right to your earnings than you do. You have to pay (income) tax, so why shouldn't they pay more, given they didn't earn the inheritance? The 'double tax' objection is nonsense, because aside from the fact they should reasonably pay more, it would also rule out VAT.
