I think that: I hear in the media about compensation money being important for ex service men, Medical, resettlement and recognition is far more important, Employers could not ask for better motivated workers. Because: HM Forces are undervalued in the work place, more importantly there is the lack of respect, which is summed up by Andy McNab letter in the Sun, see web link.

Unfortunately compensation claims tend to be more sensationalized by the media. Resettlement, recognition and medical care lack punch in their eyes.
