I think that: All this talk of Intelligent Design (gimme a break). Creationists believe the Bible is literally true. Who are they trying to kid? We shouldn't be exposing our kids to this nonsense.
Because: If you just consider the way the Bible was put together from a bunch of different sources selected by people who wanted to control and lead other people. So they pick the stories (mixed with a little bit of history) that will keep everyone in line. There's some great analagous teaching there but don't tell me it's all true and then ask me to vote for you. And don't try and foist it onto vulnerable minds in schools.
