I think that: We have to recognise different manifestations of law other than legislation from Parliament, like socio-legal customs and religious laws.

Because: In our globalising world we must tolerate the diversity within nations and accept law from all its manifestations and allow this to act as a check and balance on eachother. This way we can stop unruly leaders, protect the minorities of the country and take into account a more direct democracy of law making. See scholars: Masaji Chiba (1989) Prof Menski (2005)
