I think that: Britain is going PC mad...or maybe I should say 'is experiencing severe Mental Health difficulties' Because: We now have baa baa 'rainbow' sheep and 'thought-showers' instead of brainstorms and are not supposed to use seemingly innocent words such as love, pet, whiteboard/blackboard, pensioner, black coffee, Christmas and so on. Is this not ridiculous? Firstly, the majority of people apparently protected by prohibiting these words aren't actually offended, and secondly, shouldn't we concentrate on changing attitudes rather than terminology?? |
