I think that: That the problems on public transport caused by the flooding are because of mismanagement by the rail companies Because: People are diverted onto different routes because trains are cancelled, yet they do not increase the number of caridges even though many trains are not going anywhere

Rail companies don't control the weather

When our Railways were built steam trains could have easily run through floods.
The water is probably affecting electric signals, so trains can't run safely.
Many stations cannot cope with longer trains, so adding carriages isn't an option.

i guess you wpould also be moaning if taxes or fares went up because more money was spent on the railways. More carriages? Doh. Do you not think that the rail companies try to run things the best they can?
