I think that: Shops that charge 30 to 40 pence extra for using a debit card should get penalised.
I didnt even know I was charged it the other day until I looked at the receipt when I got home.Its only a few shops that do it and there just being sneaky greedy people. "oh but it costs us money" they'll whinge. But they will make it up on the rip off amount they charge for their products. Do they not know that we know this?
Because: It cant be legal can it? Otherwise all shops would do it, wouldnt they? Always make sure you ask for a receipt just so these rip off merchants know that we are on to them. Bring back proper order please!
