Agree Disagree Don't know Don't care

I think that: It should not have happened

Because: There have been several despots in my life time. Idi Amin who killed and sometimes ate the flesh of his victims, and Pol Pot are two examples. They did not have the resources that Iraq have, so the world powers have left them alone. They were not hounded and they were not killed in public. Saddam killed 149 people or that what he was tried for. These other 2 killed more than that. In England we do not have executions and even in America, not all states do. So why was he hanged? If a pet was killed in the same manner, animal rights activist would have been up and down the country protesting, so what about his human rights? What we ultimately have to remember is that if Iraq wanted him out, they would have, without interference from the outside, taken him out. I believe they were comfortable with their situation so no one did anything. Now, our boys and girls are dying because the very same people they are there to help have turned against them. If the shoe were on the other foot how would Mr Blair and Mr Bush be judged?
