I think that: The argument presented by the NUT et al, is one sided. The Army gives an individual self-respect, a sense of worth. The fantastic opportunities, life-changing events are available in the Forces. It is not about killing people and destruction. Sometimes it is about bringing peace and hope. Sometimes the politics is also wrong.
Because: Sportsmanship, kinship, sports, trades, team building, making a difference, giving rather than receiving, when education fails, the forces take the broken pieces and make something for the country and the individual. MORALS don’t lecture me about morals; go learn about them in the real world. Yes sometimes the politics are wrong.
