I think that: Tesco is too big it makes trade unfair. The Office of Fair Trading should make a move to stop supermarkets from moving into every conceivable market and using their wealth to dominate those markets.
Because: Typically, your local supermarket now does groceries, clothes, home wear, insurance, banking, prescriptions, post, petrol, vehicle goods and alcohol.
Supermarkets should never have been allowed to sell alcohol, and instead the result is that according to the BMA cheap booze has led to an alcohol epidemic.
Basically, in a nut shell, spread business more widely and more people will benefit. Giant supermarket brands are really pinching their suppliers and those savings are not always passed on.
Supermarkets need to improve their behaviour or pack up.
