I think that: The tragic story of a twenty two year old woman who died after refusing a blood transfusion, is a disgrace.

Because: The elders of the church should have no right to come to a patient who is ill, or in her case pregnant, and brow beat them into signing forms promising not to have blood transfusions. The Bible says 'abstain from blood' but surely they must have it in the wrong context. I am a Christian, and I think God would see this as a terrible sin to let someone die when their life can be saved.
