I think that: The political landscape and political discourse in the UK has come to be dominated by political right.

Because: By New Labour promoting a new centre-Right (not centre-Left as they once claimed) polictics, particularly on areas like crime and immigration, and the Tories who have attempted to strengthen their position by presenting themselves as a little more Right thinking than previous Tory oppositions, as well as their New Labour counterparts, has meant that current political discourse has become polarized between these two dismal standpoints.
