I think that: i really get annoyed when people start to talk about the good 'ole days. Like there was some golden age in Britain where everything was great - great hospitals, no crime, good food, etc.
Because: let's face it - we are all better off now than we have ever been - we are not at war in Europe, we ahve plenty to eat, we can travel, we almost have equality across all members of society (except thos that are poor) we have some of the best medical facilities ever, life expectancy is going up,etc. yes we can always improve things but let's go forward not backwards!
