Petition question: Do you think that councils should build on open spaces on private/and or council housing estates? I live on a private estate that was built in the 1960's as a land mark estate and we have 3 open spaces, not big but enough for all the local children to play on. There is one space in the middle and one at each end of the cul-de-sac. Our local town council is against any plans for development but our county council is looking to build on them. Breckland council are not listening to us locals and no-one on their planning panel even live in the area or environs! Surely everybody is entitled to have a green space in their area, a place where children can safely play outside their home, whether they live on a private or council estate should make no difference, we do not want to live in concrete jungles, our children are important to us and we want them to be safe and happy so stop building on any small pocket of land you find and keep them for local people to enjoy.
